Malcolm Hurlston is the chairman and founding trustee. He also chairs the Foundation for Credit Counselling, Registry Trust (which operates a central registry of decrees) and the consulting firm Hurlstons.

Gordon Bell is the Chief Executive of CCCS Scotland and of the Foundation for Credit Counselling. He joined the charities from General Electric, the world's largest company, where he had international responsibility for the integration of IT.

Liz McVey is the Managing Counsellor of CCCS Scotland and Scottish Debtline. Liz has worked in the Glasgow office since it opened in 1996. She is supported by a team of counsellors and administrators.

Lord George Foulkes MP is patron of CCCS Scotland.
